Hurricane Sandy is predicted to make landfall along the U.S. East Coast on Monday or Tuesday of next week. Due to the potential impact this could cause, Liberty International has implemented its emergency contingency plan. Our emergency plan includes measures to power down all servers in anticipation of power outages. Should Liberty need to shut down its server, announcements confirming shutdown and anticipated date/time for restoring all services will be sent.

Liberty has received notification from a local trucking company that service into and out of the Ports and facilities in New York are being temporarily suspended Monday and possibly Tuesday of next week.  We anticipate that as conditions warrant, more notifications will be received from other carriers and port facilities as well.  Freight arriving into the Ocean and Air ports over the weekend may be delayed. At this time, Liberty cannot advise on the extent of these delays, but will continue to monitor the situation closely.
