Happy New Year!!! While Angels of Santa Barbara is one of the smaller foster family agencies in California, one wouldn't believe that when we were together at Alisal Ranch last month for our holiday celebration! How wonderful it was - to experience the wonder with children of all ages, to see all the joyful and energetic children dashing about, to be in the company of dedicated families who have opened their hearts and homes to children in need, and to witness firsthand the impact Angels and each person in the room has made in our community these past eight years!
I would like to take this time to thank the Angels staff whose contributions to Angels are invaluable and an integral part of Angels' success. Many thanks to Ellen, Stacy, and Betsy for their multitude of talents, generosity of spirit, and unfailing good humor that they share often and abundantly with Angels and each Angels family. We are truly very fortunate to have such a team!
May 2015 bring you each happiness, peace, and precious moments!

Education Reminder
All currently certified Foster Parents have been issued new credits online for 2015! Please log in to your FosterParentCollege.com account to access your credits. 10 hours of online education must be completed annually for all Foster Parents certified through Angels.

March 3, 5, 10, 12, 19, 24 (5:30-8:30pm)

Note that pre-screening and certain paperwork are required before prospective foster parents may enroll in parent training classes. Please contact Intake Social Worker Stacy Peterson at stacy@angelssb.com as soon as you are ready to begin the process.

We are pleased to announce that we recently opened an Endowment Fund managed by the Santa Barbara Foundation. Angels is currently fundraising to earn important matching grants for the fund. Please consider a gift to our fund, and leave a legacy to sustain Santa Barbara
County's foster babies and infants in safe, stable and loving foster homes for decades
