Conestoga High School Leads Pennsylvania with 33 National Merit Semifinalists

Conestoga High School leads Pennsylvania with 33 National Merit Semifinalists. The students earned this recognition through their performance on the 2015 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Nationwide there are approximately 16,000 semifinalists in the scholarship program. They represent less than one percent of the nation's high school seniors. These students will go on to compete for over 8,000 scholarships through the National Merit Corporation or its sponsoring organizations. In addition, 39 seniors have been recognized by the College Board as Commended students, representing approximately the top four percent of graduating seniors nationwide. Four students were named National Hispanic Scholars and are among the top PSAT takers of Hispanic descent. Congratulations to all of Conestoga High School's scholars.
