Kindergarten and New Student Registration for the 2016-2017 School Year
Kindergarten and new student registration for students who will be entering T/E elementary schools in September 2016 will begin on January 25, 2016.
Registration Dates:
- January 25-26 - Beaumont and Hillside Elementary Schools
- January 28-29 - Devon, New Eagle and Valley Forge Elementary Schools
Hours for registration for all schools will be from 9:15 am to 11:45 am and from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Questions regarding elementary school attendance boundaries may be directed to the Transportation Department (610) 240-1680.

School Director Region Reapportionment Study Update - Plan Submission
The Ad Hoc School Board Region Reapportionment Committee met on November 17, 2015. With input from community members, the Committee developed two possible reapportionment plans for consideration. These plans meet the parameters required by the state and also meet much of the criteria established by the Committee during its first meeting. The plans are available below.
The Committee invites any interested members of the T/E community to comment on these two plans or to submit a plan of their own. Comments and suggested plans can be emailed to webmaster@tesd.net. In order to be considered at the next meeting, all submissions must be made by Friday, January 15, 2016. All submissions will be made public on the District web site. Plans submitted by T/E community members must include a rationale explaining how the plan addresses inequities in the voting regions as well as the following Committee-established criteria.
- Three regions
- Three representatives per region
- Sustainable for some time
- Keep neighborhoods together
- Compact regions
- Create the least disruption as possible
- Consider potential population of new developments
- Keep plan simple
- Consider all possible plans that fall within ratio
Next Meeting Date
The next meeting of the Committee will be held on January 26, 2016, at 7:00 pm in Room 200 of the Tredyffrin/Easttown Administration Offices, 940 West Valley Road, Suite 1700 in Wayne.

ARCH Presentation "Just Talk About It" Airs on TETV
ARCH, Area Residents Caring and Helping, along with Conestoga High School, joined Minding Your Mind in a discussion on mental health education on December 10, 2015. Topics addressed during the discussion were anxiety, depression, self-harm, substance abuse, and the difference between positive and negative coping mechanisms.
The presentation is currently airing on TETV, Comcast Channel 14 and Verizon Channel 20, on the following days and times through mid-January.
