It's party time! Trek to Fountain Square on First Friday, September 5, as we unveil our full lineup of 2014 Spirit & Place Festival events.

 
Be among the first to learn all about our 40+ events that will dazzle Indianapolis this November. Talk with program organizers from around the city, enjoy the music of local teen band Rising Gravity as you wander through our canned goods labyrinth, and if you're feeling courageous, join us in singing karaoke of the band Journey! Did we say we have some amazing giveaways? See you there!


The 19th annual Public Conversation will feature bestselling author and journalist Gail Sheehy, bestselling poet and philosopher Mark Nepo, and author and palliative care expert Dr. Timothy E. Quill.

Mark your calendar for Nov. 16, 2014 and plan to join us for an insightful conversation about the end-of-life issues from the perspective of a caregiver, patient, and physician as our public conversationalists chat together about the inevitable human "journey." Learn more


The 2014 Penrod Arts Fair is coming up and Spirit & Place is all set to enjoy some great art and fascinating performances.

Spirit & Place at the Festival of Faiths

We're looking forward to participate in the second annual Festival of Faiths that will bring together the faiths of the world - and the community. The festival will feature more than 50 exhibitors, a lively opening ceremony, and various faith-based dances and performances that emphasize the diversity in Indianapolis. 

 

Please join us in this celebration on Sunday, September 7 from 1-5 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Plaza.
