The Indiana State Museum & Historic Sites will host a dinner honoring Rabbi Sandy Sasso, Thursday, June 12.

Sandy is one of the first leaders of Spirit & Place having served as an Advisory Board chair, a Public Conversation moderator, a festival event presenter, as well as a member on many festival committees. More than Fun and Games
An article by Mary Rizzo featuring Spirit & Place

Do you remember our 2012 festival on PLAY? One of our most popular events that year was GAMESpot, where more than 75 game decals were placed on sidewalks all around the city so Indy residents could enjoy a bit of play in their everyday life!

Read about GAMESpot in an article by Mary Rizzo, Public Historian in Residence and Co-Editor of The Public Historian, Mid-Atlantic Regional Center for the Humanities at Rutgers University-Camden. More than Fun and Games?: Play, Public Humanities, and Engaged Democracy was included in the journal "Public Art, Design, Humanities: A Journal of Imagining America."
Indy's Electric Car Sharing Program
An all-electric vehicle sharing program

In June of  2013, Mayor Ballard announced Indianapolis would begin one of the largest electric car sharing programs in the United States. Indy's Electric Car Share Program will feature 500 electric vehicles available for rent for one-way trips around the city. The vehicles will be found at approximately 200 locations with up to 1,000 charging stations.

So keep your eyes out for those little blue cars and join Indy's movement toward greener energy!
