RISK: 2013 Spirit & Place Festival

Exciting New Changes for 2013 Festival

Announcing Scott A. Jones as honorary chair

We are ecstatic to announce that Scott A. Jones will serve as the honorary chair of the 2013 Spirit & Place Festival on RISK. You may know him as the inventor of voicemail or the Co-Founder (and Chairman/CEO) of ChaCha. Read more on IndyStar.

"I'm proud to play a role as honorary chair for Spirit & Place this year because I am so intrinsically committed to taking calculated and intelligent risks to achieve giant rewards that really move the needle in so many dimensions of our community," says Jones. Learn more about Scott A. Jones on his website: scottajones.com.

$2,500 prize to be awarded to a Festival partner

To encourage risky programs on RISK, the Festival's Steering Committee will, for the first time, award a $2,500 cash prize to one community organization that creates a program that is truly emblematic of the RISK theme. As always, the Festival is seeking original, "never-before-seen" programs. See our press release here.

Guidelines and the online application are both available online. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2013. Questions? Contact Jennifer at 317-278-3623 or gillesj@iupui.edu.
