Greetings!

Wow! Where did this year go?!  I've always said that my two most favorite days of school are the first day and the last day. The extra energy and enthusiasm as students arrived this morning provided a truly delightful reminder that I'm not the only one who feels that way.

A great awards ceremony this morning honored dozens of students for their accomplishments this year. Students, parents, staff and everyone else involved with CVA have much to be proud of as we head into summer.

This will be the last News from the Village for a while, but the work doesn't stop over the summer. Melissa, Gerry and I will be here most of the summer, so if you need anything feel free to stop by. Barring that, see you in a couple months! Have a great summer full of activity, learning and fun!

Community and

Service Fair Success!

CVA presented its 5th Annual Community and Service Fair at CVA on Thursday, May 30.  Students had the opportunity to present the volunteer experiences they had throughout this year.  It was impressive to see the many ways our students contributed to their communities!

It is our hope that students use these varied activities to find an area in which they find a passion for service.

Calling All Parents

We need your help with one last survey this year! We're putting together information for new families for this fall, and we want to hear from you.

Tell us what you wish you knew when you first came to CVA, or what you would still like to know now. Your input is really valuable and will help new families get off to a great start at CVA.

To get to the survey, click here.  Thanks in advance for your assistance!
