Greetings!
Two major kinds of positive excitement can be felt around the school these days. The first is pretty obvious - with just a few weeks left, we have all sorts of end-of-the-year activities going on or being planned, soon to end with graduation and summer vacation!
The second is perhaps less obvious to many people, but we're also well into the planning for next year. As we expand to include Grade 2, Christy will be taking on the Grade 2-3 multi-age classroom and Amanda will be moving to Grade 4. We've already found our new English Language Arts teacher, and she's going to be a perfect fit for CVA!
On Friday, the staff will be at an all-day retreat where we will be developing plans to enhance all three parts of our name: Cyber, Village, and Academy. This work will result in a clearer definition of what CVA is all about. Stay tuned - we'll share the results of our work as it develops!

Study Center Closed
The study center will be CLOSED on Friday, May 10th, due to the staff retreat. No CVA staff will be in the building on that day, so please do not plan to come in to work at school. Staff will be available to answer student questions about school work via e-mail.
The study center will still be open on Thursday, May 9th.

What a Blast!
The 8th graders had a fantastic trip to Eagle Bluff earlier this week. They participated in a high ropes course, competitive orienteering, a Root River hike, group challenges, plus so much more! A special thanks to Laurie I., Mark G., and Alex S. for helping to chaperone the event!

All books should be returned to the CVA and TTSP library by Wednesday, May 15. Please take some time to check lockers, backpacks, couches, cars, and your own bookshelves to round up books that you may have even forgotten you had. Thanks for your help!
