Allure Spa

 
A word from Sandra...
Last year on August 1st I was on my family vacation with my husband and two sons in Bermuda. It amazes me that it has been exactly one year since our annual family vacation. This August 1st, I am writing from West Palm Beach, Florida with my two sons, Christian and Silas. We are spending a few days where my sister Linda resides. I enjoy spending quality time on my vacation reflecting on past events and practicing prayer for wonderful memories to follow.

Today, I remember my Mother. This August 5th marks 21 years since she entered Heaven. It is amazing how quickly the time has passed, but also astounds me how much has been accomplished and the generations that have been grown throughout the years.
In my July newsletter, I remarked about how I was only six months pregnant with my oldest son Christian when my Mother passed. It astonishes me that my baby will be 21 years old this October! Wow! Christian was only 1 and a half when I opened Allure Spa! This April, marks 20 years in business for Allure Spa! It has been such a blessing to watch my son grow throughout the years. It has also been such a blessing to see clients that we have been servicing at Allure Spa since we have opened our doors and to watch their children grow and see them become parents over the years. It stands true that different generations appear to bless us with their gifts in different ways.

One family that comes to mind are the McDonough family who we have been providing services to at Allure Spa for many years. I remember Diane bringing her little girls to visit and spend time with us at the Salon. One of her little girls has grown and is now a Sophomore in High School. This beautiful young woman, Grace, now works at Allure Spa as an assistant. We enjoy seeing her grow as we guide her with work experience while in her High School years!

I often feel that Allure Spa has always been known to attract families as clients. I truly believe this is a result of having a staff that resembles a close knit family. Many clients comment to me on how funny the staff teases each other, and supports one another while servicing and showing clients love within their workplace. We have truly always remained such a TEAM through it all. I am so thankful to share my Allure Spa family with your families throughout the years!

 I hope you all find reflection on such a beautiful summer and are able to experience  a stress-free back-to-school experience this month!

Ultherapy Open House
 



Thank you to everyone who was able to attend our Ulthera presentation this past July! We are very excited about the interest and response we have with our clients and from the outside community. It is important for us to educate our clients on this new innovation. On Wednesday, August 14th at 6:00 at Allure Spa, we will be having another LIVE demonstration and short presentation. We welcome all clients, friends and families to this event and we will also be offering light refreshments and beverages to this event. We look forward to seeing you!

  Employee of the Month



This month of August, we are honoring Kathleen Kelly as the employee of the month at Allure Spa. We are awarding this person because of their continuous hard word, positive outlook and dedication to the company. Kathleen has worked at Allure Spa for over eight years. She specializes in esthetics; including waxing and facials, medical peels, and Ultherapy. This month we are honoring Kathleen because of her hospitality at her 1st Annual Allure Spa Pool Party at her house. She invited all of the staff's families and friends to come and enjoy in the fun. She taught the staff what TEAMWORK can really do when everyone comes together. Most of the staff were able to attend and brought their own favorite dish! . This Hanover resident lives with her two daughters and fiance. Also, her oldest daughter Katie, has worked at Allure Spa for a few years while in school. Kathleen has also been an integral part of Friends of the World Charitable Trust and has been to Bangladesh for over two weeks to teach her vocation of cosmetology to the young women there. Kathleen has been such a blessing to the Allure Spa Family! Thank you!
