So far, just over $20,000 was raised thanks to the generous individuals and event sponsors who responded to the call to Stand Up For Hunger!
Together Associated Churches, The Franciscan Center, and Miss Virginia's Mission House will continue to help those in need throughout our community because people responded with unselfish hearts. What a blessed evening for everyone!
Those who came for the evening were able to view this video, "Not Enough." You can view it also by clicking above.
Cindy and Mayor Tom Henry along with Roger and Julie Reece take a stand together to help the hungry of Allen County.
Last week we gathered church and school representatives to share all that continues to be accomplished in our Rising Stars program. As the scheduled time came to an end, folks stayed and swapped stories for an additional hour. If that isn't testimony, in and of itself, of the great spirit of this program, we're not sure what is!
Be sure to check out The e-pistle next week as we reveal the astounding numbers of 2012 in regards to Rising Stars!
