Individual Members are invited to attend the member's only President's Reception Thursday, August 4 from 3:45 to 4:45. Come have a drink and let us thank you for being a member of the best state orchestra association in the country! 
 
Organization Members may send one delegate to Conference for FREE if that individual has never attended a Conference before. Thanks to the generosity of the National Endowment for the Arts, you can apply for an ACSO/NEA Scholarship. There are 14 left for individual members and 15 left for organization members. The Scholarship covers a 3-day registration.

GIVE YOUR MOST VALUABLE PLAYER THE
RECOGNITION THEY DESERVE!
 
Applications are being accepted for ACSO's 21st Annual Most Valuable Player Awards. The awards are designed to give recognition to a few of the hundreds of dedicated, hard working and committed volunteers that orchestras depend on every day. The Most Valuable Player Award is not a competition but an opportunity for your volunteers to be recognized in a public forum.

The top administrator of each ACSO member organization may submit one completed form, which constitutes the sole basis of the award being given. ACSO will inscribe the winner's name on a special certificate and send you a press release you can customize and give to your local newspaper.
 
The awards will be presented at Conference on Saturday, August 6 from 12:00 to 2:00. Make sure your volunteers attend.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR CONFERENCE 
Quick, efficient and immediate!
(A $7.50 processing fee applies to all online registrations; group registration is not available online)
Ideal for groups. Fax, mail or phone in your registration.
 
ACSO invites first-time delegates to apply for a complimentary registration ($249/value).
(Applicants must also fill out a conference registration form using one of the two above methods.)
VIEW THE CONFERENCE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS 
The Oakland Marriott City Center, with its convenient downtown location, will be our home for 3 days. There is EASY transportation from the hotel to all of our off-site events. The hotel is within walking distance of dozens of trendy bars, casual eateries and upscale restaurants, and just a 20 minute walk from Jack London Square. Directly across the street from a BART station, delegates will have EASY access to Oakland Airport and the San Francisco Airport.

Rooms are just $169/night (plus taxes) and available until July 13th or when the block is filled. Please reserve early to avoid disappointment!
