The OLLI Talent Lecture next Wednesday, April 13 is well-timed in light of the historic developments in America's relationship with Cuba. Join us at Camelot Theater from 1:00 to 3:00 pm as Robert Arellano presents the Cuban revolution through the words and images of various Cuban authors and filmmakers.
Arellano is the author of six novels, and has taught Cuban Studies at Brown University and the University of New Mexico before joining the SOU faculty. Click here for details or to register.
Through documentary videos and a wealth of personal experience, Lori Stanton, Southern Oregon Regional Coordinator for the Alzheimer's Association, will address the fears and myths surrounding Alzheimer's and dementia. She holds a Master's Degree in gerontology, and has a deep understanding of the biological, social and emotional changes that are part of the disease process. OLLI Artists Exhibition at the HEC; Reception Friday, April 15
The work of OLLI artists Andreas Birkholz, Janet Brougher, Pam Christy, Nina Council, Tana Domecq-Davis, Judy Elvin, Pam Haunschild, Katharine Sloan, Barbara Szabo, and Jan Weydemeyer will be on display on the first floor of the Higher Education Center in Medford from April 15 through June 9. Attend a reception hosted by the artists on April 15 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. See flyer.
