One Week Left to Participate in Course Request Registration
Whether you use the online registration system or manual forms, your course requests must be received by no later than 11:59 pm on Monday, November 30, in order to be included in the computerized course assignment lottery. Consider holiday mail delays if mailing a request form. Note that the office will be closed November 25 to November 27. Avoid stress; don't wait until the last minute.
After you receive your confirmed course assignments, you can add or drop courses during Late Registration that starts December 14.
New Course Catalog Format
We've received many compliments on the look of the new catalog format. However, its benefits go much deeper than the upgrade in appearance:
- Member convenience; the course materials are now contained in one place that can serve as a reference throughout the term
- Showcase for the OLLI program with prospective instructors and grantors
- Vehicle for sponsor and donor recognition
- Return of some features that had been provided in OLLI's now defunct LINK newsletter
Best of all, we anticipate that the change will actually have a positive financial impact on OLLI. There are some production savings, such as the elimination of an envelope and the cost for stuffing separately produced materials, and there are some revenue generating opportunities with grantors, sponsors and donors.
