OLLI Fall Mixer and Winter Course Preview
Don't Miss This Special Event on Friday, October 30 from 4 to 6 pm
Enjoy Halloween and fall-themed fun and treats, wine, appetizers, sweets, and conviviality in a space conducive to mixing it up with new members and long-time friends. You'll have a chance to win a door prize like a restaurant certificate, manicure, Harry & David gift basket and others.

Plus, Winter 2016 course listings will be available, and you can interact with instructors representing the scope of the diverse OLLI curriculum. You'll be better prepared for Course Registration that starts just 2 weeks later on November 16.

New Campbell Center Parking Option
Effective immediately, OLLI members may park in SOU parking lot #16 without purchasing a parking permit. This free parking applies only to this SOU lot.  

Lot #16 is located at the corner of Frances Lane and Oregon Street, on the uphill (south) side of the Campbell Center, behind classroom E. For a map of the new parking option, please click here.
The Nitty-Gritty of OLLI Operations
How Things Work: It's Transparent!
As you can imagine, a volunteer-run organization of almost 1,450 members that produces 100+ weekly classes per quarter, along with other member activities, is quite the undertaking. There are several ways to gain an understanding of OLLI's operations and governance:
  • Peruse the website, especially the governance link where you can view budgets, bylaws, policies and procedures, Council meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Attend Council meetings. The next one is Monday, October 19 at 3:15 pm in Room D of the Campbell Center.
  • Become a frequent visitor to the OLLI Facebook page. We've added a direct link to this page at the top of the Newsflash and at the bottom of the website to make it easy to stay connected.
