One-Credit Courses

The list of Winter 2015 OLLI courses that qualify for SOU credit is now available here.  OLLI members who are enrolled in these classes, are residents of Oregon for at least one year, and are 65 years or older, are eligible to check out materials from the SOU Hannon Library which has more than 300,000 books, magazines, and movies in their collection. Enrolling also helps SOU and OLLI at no cost to you. Participants in this program are included in the university's head count. In thanks, SOU waives rental costs for OLLI's use of the Higher Education Center.

How to participate. To receive course credit, those that have never before participated in the one-credit program must complete and return the Senior Audit Form to either OLLI office. Former participants need only call Carol or Christina at 541-552-6048 with their name, the one credit classes in which they are enrolled and any changes to contact information. Deadline to enroll for the first time or to renew is Wednesday, January 28, by 4:00 pm.

Teaching at OLLI is stimulating and fun! Is your schedule tight next quarter? Offering fewer sessions (a minimum of two) can ease schedule conflicts for you -- and for your students. Try a different campus. OLLI offers courses both in Ashland and Medford. Use the web-based form to submit the basics now, such as course title, brief course description and outline, number of sessions, preferred days and times. You can finalize the course content over the next two months. Questions? Review the Instructor FAQs .
