OLLI Bylaws and Policies
Bylaws Changes. Both proposed OLLI Bylaws changes passed with 465 or 33% of members voting, a greater participation than in other recent OLLI elections. To review the wording of these measures, click here.- Electronic voting option: 92% in favor, 8% opposed
- Council member selection: 62% in favor, 38% opposed
Your Opinion Counts. In addition to your vote, there are many ways you can influence OLLI policy and procedures:
- Attend Council meetings - next one is Tuesday, January 20 at 3:15 in the Campbell Center
- Attend member town halls and annual meetings
- Use the suggestion box in the office and online

Participate in surveys
Service Animal Policy. At the last Council meeting, Council affirmed that OLLI follows the SOU Assistance Animal policy, which allows service dogs in classrooms, but not support dogs or pets of any other species. No elephants in the room!

Prepare for Winter Term
Free up class space for others. Notify the office of courses you will not be able to attend by course number and title either through email with "DROP" in the subject line or by phoning 541-552-6048.
Select from among the many still available classes. To register for one of them, sign in to your account, and if the course you want has an "Add to Cart" button, you can put it in your cart and be assured of a seat when you check out.

Want a great course line-up this spring? Recruit an instructor -- OLLI member or non-member -- for a subject you care about or submit a proposal yourself. The online course proposal is now available and the deadline for submission is January 16.

Movie Matinee Fundraiser
Thanks to all that participated in the OLLI Movie Matinee fundraiser. You contributed $1,170 to our operating fund that supports OLLI member scholarships, ride assistance, and instructor assistance.
