OLLI Fall 2014 Catalog and Member Sign Up Now Available

"Window Shop". The Fall 2014 Catalog is now online and available as a separate document to download. Enjoy browsing the course offerings and consider which courses appeal to you and fit with your schedule.

Join OLLI/Renew Membership. While anyone can browse the catalog, only members can select courses once registration begins. If you have not yet joined or renewed membership for 2014-2015, you can do so now. Click here to sign in and follow the instructions. Think about making a donation to the OLLI Annual Fund at the same time.

Complete Your Course Requests. To optimize your chances of getting the courses you want, be sure to

specify these courses (up to a maximum of six) in the order of preference during the Course Requests period of fall registration that starts July 30 (formerly known as "priority registration"). Submit your requests by the deadline of August 12 to be included in the computerized lottery that allocates oversubscribed courses. Once the allocation occurs, you'll be able to add an unlimited number of courses that have remaining seats to your schedule during Late Registration.

July 14 to July 30: Browse Fall 2014 course catalog and join or renew membership
July 30 to August 12: Submit course requests for fall term prior to the computerized lottery that allocates oversubscribed courses
August 19: Late Registration for Fall 2014 begins: course selection switches to a first-come, first served basis
September 8: Fall courses begin, but since some courses start later in the term, registration continues

OLLI Open House Recap

Hope You Were There. The inaugural OLLI Open Houses in Ashland and Medford this past weekend were a huge success. We estimate that over 500 OLLI members and guests attended one or both open houses for the unveiling of the fall curriculum. The participation of fifteen community partners and a dozen OLLI instructors made this a fun celebration of lifelong learning. And, there were 35 lucky door prize winners. One feature of the event was the chance to view the first-ever OLLI at SOU video. Thanks to the many volunteers and OLLI staff that contributed to the open houses!
