Spring Classes Start Monday, 3/31!
Adjust Your Schedule. Starting tomorrow, March 25, you can sign in and add as many courses as you'd like throughout the term. Please drop any courses that you will not attend by emailing olli@sou.edu ASAP so that other members can fill the seat you're vacating. Several courses have very long waiting lists.

Eligibility for OLLI One-Credit Courses
The list of Spring 2014 OLLI courses that qualify for SOU credit is now available. OLLI members who are enrolled in these classes, are residents of Oregon for at least one year, and are 65 years or older, are eligible to receive a SOU student ID card free, with benefits such as a discounted bus pass for the term, and the ability to check out materials from the SOU Hannon Library. Participants in this program are included in the university's head count. In thanks, rent for OLLI's use of the Medford campus is waived.
How to participate. To receive course credit, you will need to complete and return the Senior Audit Form for Spring 2014 to either OLLI office by the deadline of Friday, April 11. Note: this one-credit application form is not being provided via "snail mail" but will be available in OLLI classrooms, both offices, and sent electronically in the next issue of the Newsflash.

Website Upgrades -- Sitemap and More!
Answers to about 99% of your OLLI questions can be found on the www.sou.edu/olli website, but finding those answers has not been easy. Now there are two ways: the search box in the upper right hand corner of the home page and the OLLI sitemap located in the bottom of the lefthand navigation menu.
And, have you noticed the moving OLLI slide show on the home page? We're working on a video, but this serves in the meantime to give a visual overview of the OLLI program.
Finally, our hardworking Curriculum Committee has provided a new, comprehensive Instructor FAQs section. |
