Winter Term Announcements
Winter Courses. We must be getting the hang of our new online registration system - almost three-quarters of us required no assistance to request courses online during Priority Registration! More courses can be added now and throughout the term, either online or through the office. Promptly dropping courses lets others sign up for them. To drop a course, email olli@sou.edu with "REGISTRATION" in the subject line or call the office. Changes so far to the Winter schedule are summarized here, but the online Catalog is always your best source for the latest information.
Save the Dates. The new monthly Medford Lecture Series premieres Friday, January 10, 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Seats for this series are limited and registration will be required. We'll send an invitation shortly. Browse the Ashland Lecture Series and save the dates for the programs in which you're interested.
Spring Course Proposals. Use the holiday hiatus to prepare a course proposal for Spring term or recruit a qualified instructor to address a topic of interest. Course proposals are due January 22.

OLLI and SOU in the News
SOU Retrenchment. In a recent Guest Opinion in the Mail Tribune, SOU President Mary Cullinan explained the coming changes at SOU that are designed to maintain a vibrant and relevant university.
OLLI Instructor Profiled. OLLI's Kathy Rosengren was featured as one of six outstanding educators in the Fall issue of Southern Oregon Magazine. Her comment, "Teaching at OLLI is every teacher's dream," echoes that of many OLLI instructors. Grab a copy of the magazine to see the picture of Kathy and Dianne Lindow that's missing in the online version.
OLLI on RVTV. OLLI's Anne Bellegia was a guest on the half-hour RVTV program Like Wow! talking about why OLLI is an important resource for older adults in the Rogue Valley.
