Update: Online Registration Timeline
As described in the recent member letter, you will be introduced to the online registration process in two stages.
STAGE 1 has been pushed back a few days in order to provide better integration with the OLLI website. Visit www.sou.edu/olli starting Monday, November 5 and look for the blue box on the home page in order to:
- Browse Winter 2013 courses by category, campus location, day of week, and instructor
- View your member profile using temporarily assigned user name (last name and first two initials of first name, e.g., kleinsa) and password (Welcome, which is case sensitive), make optional changes to your user name and data, and create secure password
STAGE 2 is the actual priority registration period in which you'll specify your course preferences for Winter 2013. It is now planned for November 30 to December 7 to avoid interference with the Thanksgiving break. This will be confirmed via a later Newsflash and step-by-step instructions provided.
STAGE 1 is intended to familiarize you with the new area of the website so that when priority registration opens in STAGE 2, you can go directly to the classes you want and sign up. See summary of the online timetable.
NOTE: Members will always have the option to use OLLI's manual course registration process, but the online system has many member advantages such as easy search options and up to date course schedules before you make your selections, plus huge savings in staff time.

Video of Member Presentations
Those who were unable to attend the recent Member Presentations on OLLI's Future may view the program recorded at the Medford campus by RVTV. As was stressed in the presentations, OLLI's planning process is dynamic and relies on ongoing member involvement. Please participate in OLLI surveys and polls. Feel free to funnel your ideas and suggestions to Lucy Strasburg.

Healthy Aging Brain Vital Issues Forum
We had a record turnout for Sunday's Vital Issues Forum "The Healthy Aging Brain." Thanks to all of you who registered. It is a great help in planning seating. For those unable to attend, you may want to check out Judith Horstman's book by the same title, available at Bloomsbury and online book sellers.
