Member Presentations Follow Up
 
Attendees at this week's Member Presentations on OLLI's Future provided the Council and committee chairs with invaluable feedback. For those of you who could not attend the presentations, a video link will be made available shortly. You may also like to review the findings and suggestions of the Vision 2022 and Greater Medford Area task forces that are helping to shape long range planning. 
 
Nothing has been finalized. This planning process is dynamic and relies on ongoing member involvement. Please participate in OLLI surveys and polls and feel free to funnel your ideas and suggestions to Lucy Strasburg.  
What Makes Special Events "Special"

Are you taking full advantage of OLLI single event educational programs? Our Community Lecture series, held each Wednesday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, offers some fascinating topics and presenters. Check out the schedule for October and November. Next week's topic is especially timely: "American Character: Individualism and Volunteerism," presented by SOU philosophy professor Dr. Prakash Chenjeri. 

Save the date for our annual Vital Issues Forum, on Sunday, October 28 from 2:00 to 4:00 in SOU's Rogue River Room. It features acclaimed science writer and lecturer Judith Horstman on "The Healthy Aging Brain." You'll receive a registration invitation shortly.
