OLLI at SOU Receives Second Endowment
What a Thanksgiving gift! We just learned that OLLI at SOU has received a second $1 million endowment from the Bernard Osher Foundation. As a member-run organization, this achievement is a testimony to the program that we have collectively created.
We were specifically acknowledged for the richness of our course offerings, the extension of our program into a larger portion of the Rogue Valley, our community partnerships and the contributions of all our volunteers -- instructors, committee members, and leaders. As you know, we are entitled to use the earnings from the Osher endowment funds. That is a good chunk of change!
OLLI will use these funds to keep membership fees affordable, prepare for future growth and to ensure our financial stability for many years to come.
Thank you all for your contributions to making OLLI at SOU a wonderful community resource.
