Oh - thank god for small miracles...I must admit, I have had easier periods in my life. Remodelling is fun, stressful and full of unknowns. But now - finally - we can enjoy the small pleasure of our new space! 

The heart of Yoga Moves is so much more happy now we have a space to meet, connect and be more of a team! Structure is so important. 

We offer you a structure: time and place where you can give over control for 1.5 hours. Let us take you into the journey called yoga: connection, relatedness and awareness. A sense and essence of stillness

Staying still holds potential for finding some quiet and inner peace -but how many of us stay still very long? 

   

I came up with an experiment - I filled a small bowl with water and began practicing walking meditation holding the bowl and trying not to spill the water. It was challenging, and I have to admit, fun (fun and practice can go together). I had to be rather still inside in order to not spill the water - it was basic mindfulness, but with a twist. 

 

still practice similarly while in motion, and while seated - not with the actual bowl of water, but with the essence of having one. To facilitate stillness, I imagine dropping into my body and softening internally. Then I imagine holding a bubble inside. Any tension in my physical body will pop it. Sometimes I imagine moving the bubble and I've found this to be a really interesting way to slow myself down, soften and sink into some stillness.
