DOUBLE-KNITTING with Michele
Double-knitting is a technique that creates a reversible, two-layered
fabric. The knit side of the fabric shows on both sides of the
fabric; the purl side lies to the inside and is invisible. Because of its
construction, a double-knit garment contains air pockets that
insulate, making it extra warm, and extra light. During this class,
you will knit a scarf.
Materials needed: Loosely plied DK or sport weight yarn in two different colors, about 140 yds of each.
