Greetings!
I usually try to keep my political persuasions separate from the shoppe, but every now and then I bend that rule when it becomes important for me to do so.
As some of you may know, I hold two jobs - one with the Leelanau County Prosecutor's Office and the other is owning the yarn shoppe. I have been with the Prosecutor's Office since 1998 and have worked under three separate prosecutors. I have also worked in other county and state criminal justice offices since 1976. During that time I have had only two bosses that I felt were ethical, honest, fair, and good supervisors. One was the District Attorney in Palmer, Alaska and the other is my current boss, Joe Hubbell.
Because of that I feel strongly about the pending election for prosecutor in Leelanau County and am hosting a Meet and Greet so that others may also have a chance to know their present and hopefully, future Prosecutor.
If you have the time and inclination, please come to the shoppe and meet Joe.
Thank you, Kathy
P.S. I am using my shoppe email list with some additions, so I apologize if you can not vote in Leelanau County. But, you are still welcome to stop by.
