We have taken a break for the past month and a half but are gearing up for a new and exciting year.
As we begin we thought we would take a moment to explain how Contagious Joy works and how a ministry wife can benefit from the Forum and the rest of the site. The purpose of Contagious Joy is to connect ministry wives around the globe for the purpose of prayer, encouragement, awareness, accountability, bible study and friendship.
What most ministry wives are looking for is a community of other like minded ministry wives where they can share their joys, victories, struggles, fears, express doubts, frustrations, anger, loneliness with other women who either are on the same path or have traveled the road already and have invaluable wisdom that is only gleaned from the school of experience.
CJ4H is distinct in that we are offering a unique Forum in that we have CLOSED the back door and work diligently and regularly to maintain the security of our site. What this means for the ministry wife is that when you comment or post in the forum you can do so with no fear of search engines capturing anything that you write. This enables a completely safe environment where you can share you heart with like minded women. This is a primary reason that you must sign in in order to post in the Forum. There is a public site to post comments but we encourage the ministry wife to sign in and engage in conversation in a safe place. In addition, our site has a certified, licensed counselor -
Dr. A - who just happens to be a church planters wife - watching and ready to answer and to pray with you.
We have created a Forum where the DR. is IN...Check out the safe place where Dr. A is waiting to hear from you. Post a comment or start your on topic. You can log in and in a safe place ask the questions you have always wanted to ask. Dr. A is a counselor but also a ministry wife and understands the unique calling upon our lives as ministry women. She is inviting you in the safe environment to open up and ask questions you've been wanting to ask a counselor but never have.
Beginning
the first week of February we are offer
ing an online Bible Study taught by Leighann McCoy She will be teaching her book on Spiritual warfare. You will be able to log in and participate weekly. Later this week we will open our sign up page in our second email.
In addition we have
15 writers who are ministry wives across the nation - literally from the East to West Coast and Canada. We send out a weekly newsletter and desire to bless the ministry wife tangibly. We do this by giving the ministry wives opportunity to win prizes throughout the year.
We have a
monthly book review and desire to let you know of the latest reads and best discipleship material for the women of your church. If you have

I
n 2014 we will be meeting four times in small groups with a maximum of 10 wives. Face to face ministering to the wife for encouragement and empowerment. Look for more details in the coming weeks.
