Reaching Our Military on Guam
& Our Local Island People April-June Prayer Letter

He did it!!!
We are so proud of our grandson, Byron, who graduated from our school on June 13th! He has worked so hard and overcome so many obstacles on this journey. He gave a great graduation speech, and used the Scripture, Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

Hafa Adai Everyone! The past two months have really been busy! Sorry we weren't able to get a prayer letter out in April or May. God has been blessing in so many ways! We'll put the highlights of each month by sections to share what's been happening!
April Events!
THIRTEEN people accepted Christ as their Saviour in April. First, a young soldier named Jasmine, who came for counseling to my office at the Guard, then on Guard drill, nine soldiers made professions of faith at the chapel service. That Sunday, at church, we had a lady named Daniela Gutierrez saved! On the 19th, a teen boy, DJ, was saved, and then on the 26th, a student named Derric, who graduated this year from our school followed the Lord in Scriptural baptism! So, all together in April, twelve people were born again and one baptized. God is so amazing!
May trip to the States
In May, we went to the States for some meetings and to visit our family. Joy hadn't seen her sisters in Indiana for two years, so she spent a couple of days with them. Then we flew out to Ft. Irwin, California to visit our grandson, Kyle and his family, and got to meet our new great-granddaughter, Emily! We also got to visit all our kids and grandkids in Springfield, MO, and to meet our new grandson, Corey...what a blessed time!

Thus far in June...
On Wednesday, June 3rd, we had a huge answer to prayer when a sweet lady named Dawn accepted Christ as her Saviour! We've been praying for her for a while! What a blessing! Then, on the 7th, in the Guard drill chapel service, several more Soldiers made professions of faith. Praise God!
TBCS Graduation!
This year we had seven high school graduates from Temple Baptist Christian School! Two of our graduates were twin sons of the editor of Pacific Daily News, so guampdn online had a great write-up on our graduation ceremony. Click on the picture if you would like to see it!

We so appreciate all your prayers and financial support over the years - thank you for being our partners in this ministry God has given us!

In His Service,
Rick & Joy
