& Our Local Island People February Prayer Letter

God's blessings!
Thanks to everyone for your continued prayer and support for us and for our ministry! God's Word is continually being fulfilled in our lives on a daily basis. Proverbs 13:12 says, "Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life." Praise God for His blessings on our family this month!

Hafa Adai everyone! February was a great month - God blessed in many ways! Several of our Christian school students have started staying after school on Wednesdays with one of our teachers, and coming to church. Pray we can reach their families with the Gospel. We're praying that God will bless with more souls saved this year!
First week:
We received a personal family blessing this week - on February 6th, our first great-granddaughter - Emily Joy Elizabeth Stone -was born at Fort Irwin, CA. Her daddy, Kyle (our oldest grandson) went regular Army after returning from deployment to Afghanistan 2013 with the Guam National Guard. Sadly, he took our great-grandson with him, and now a beautiful great-granddaughter. It should be illegal!
Second week:
Sunday, we had an Air Force couple come to visit our services, and they asked if we could come by to talk to their sons about God. So on Tuesday, we went to their home to fellowship, and both of the boys accepted Jesus as their Savior. Praise the Lord!
Third Week
Services went well at church this week, but there were no first time visitors, so no one was saved. We had a Valentine's banquet on Saturday for the Guard, and several families said they will come to visit our church. Pray that they do, and will get saved!
Last Week
Another great blessing happened for our family this month - Our son, Caleb and his wife,Tracy, were finally able to fly to Ethiopia to pick up their adopted son, Corey Beran Kelley! They arrived back home on March 2nd. Praise the Lord! They have worked on this adoption for several years, and that sweet boy is the answer to many prayers. We are so thrilled and excited for them! Please pray for them during this transition period for their family.
In His Service,
Rick & Joy
