It's Almost Food Festival Time!
It's time to mobilize temple volunteers as we prepare for our Annual Jewish Food Festival on January 10th. Let's get as many involved as possible. It's an amazing day and you'll want to be part of the festivities.

FOOD PREP
Come join a team of volunteers making Stuffed Cabbage next Sunday morning, November 8. Bring a friend! Contact Mark Margolis if you can come. Check with Mark about upcoming dates when you can make matzah balls and blintzes.

BAKERS, START YOUR OVENS!
We need LOTS of bakers.  While the rest of the world is baking Christmas cookies you can bake for the Food Festival! You can bake and freeze at your convenience and then drop off in January. If you would be willing to volunteer to bake, please contact Florey MillerFlorey has lots of recipes for Jewish "traditional" sweets - or make your own.

What about your child's class?
Following up on the parent conversations from the first day of school, what has your child's class done together out of school? Make plans to gather at a park, at the beach or at a home. Do something fun for families! The school will help cover some of the costs. Talk to your child's teacher or the Room Parent to get something on the calendar now.

When you know your child will be absent...
Please send the teacher and/or Sue an email. Too often teachers have to make last-minute changes to their class plans when it could have been avoided. Thanks.
We're still collecting!
THANK YOU FOR ALL THE USED BOOKS DONATED TO HIPPY
LAST MONTH

NOW, DURING NOVEMBER...
Women of Sinai is collecting diapers and wipes to donate to Mothers Helping Mothers. Open packages accepted. Used clothing will be accepted as well. Please leave all donations in the crib in the School Lobby.
