We've got a BIG day of Auburn planned in Atlanta on Saturday, August 16:  a Community Service project in SW Atlanta for AU's annual nationwide "Alumni in Action" initiative, and our annual Auburn Night at Turner Field.  We hope you can join us for one or both of these events! Details below.

Auburn "Alumni in Action" Community Service Project 
Atlanta effort on August 16 in SW Atlanta is part of nationwide Auburn effort in August

August is Auburn's month for local "Alumni in Action" community service events, with local AU clubs around the country participating. This year, the Atlanta Auburn Club has chosen a project in SW Atlanta, and we're looking for some Tigers who can help represent Auburn for this service effort.

We'll be at Good Shepherd Community Church (445 Lawton Street, Atlanta 30310) on Saturday, August 16, from 10:30a to 2:30p (rain or shine!) to help beautify the grounds by removing invasive plants, installing new native planting, and building fences.

We have been asked to provide 10-15 volunteers for this effort.

If you are interested in wearing your Orange & Blue and helping to lend a hand on behalf of this nationwide Auburn community service effort, please email John Becker at jnbecker@me.com.

Refreshments and tools will be provided.

Volunteers are asked to wear long sleeves and pants.

Join Us for Our Annual Auburn Night at Turner Field  
Atlanta Braves vs. Oakland A's on August 16
 
It is our BIG Annual tradition in Atlanta and the whole Auburn Family is invited to join us!

Every Summer we pick a date with the Atlanta Braves to see some great baseball and show our Orange & Blue at Turner Field. This year, with Huddy gone, we've found another reason to say "War Eagle!"  On Saturday, August 16, the Braves face the Oakland A's and 3rd baseman Josh Donaldson.  Donaldson, an Auburn Tiger, recently represented the A's and the American League in the All-Star game.  First pitch is at 7:10pm.

The Atlanta Braves are once again offering us some great advance group ticket prices on several seat choices for the game. This offer is good for ALL Auburn Tigers! So, don't miss out on this FANtastic opportunity for a night of Auburn and Braves baseball!
