Atlanta Hosts Auburn for the SEC Championship!

Is everyone ready to be LOUD, PROUD & ALL BLUE at Georgia Dome Saturday?!!!
OUR Tigers face the Missouri Tigers and the kickoff is at 4pm ET.

Full details of ALL #SECATL events taking place this week are available on our website at atlantaauburnclub.org and atlantaauburnclub.com - if there are any updates, we will update the web listing so please consider that your source for info, times and goings on in Atlanta.

For those without tickets, good luck in your quest!  People are finding some on StubHub, etc but they are pricey.  We also still have our Ticket Exchange on our Facebook page, so that is a possible resource, too.  For those who don't make it into the Dome for lack of a ticket, please remember that our Auburn-owned AAC Game Watching locations will be rocking as usual with all the AU Tiger action and plenty of fans. Those locations are listed again in this email and in the SEC information on the events page of our website.

The Atlanta Auburn Club is representing this week with three big efforts:
  • Our traditional Auburn shaker distribution at the Georgia Dome Friday morning at 9:30a ET.  We need volunteers for this and the more we have the faster it is done! At most, it is a volunteer project that takes 2 hours; but, in the past we have drawn some crowds, including from visiting Tigers so we have finished quicker. If you are interested in joining our shaker team, please email our club leader for the effort, John Becker, by clicking here.
  • Friday Night, the Atlanta Auburn Club and the Auburn Alumni Association are hosting the official Auburn event downtown, across the street from the Aquarium. We will be at Game-X, on the corner of Baker and Luckie streets, from 6p til Midnight. Full details below.
  • And, Saturday morning, we're at the Atlanta BeltLine 10K & Collegiate Challenge. The race director (an Auburn Tiger!) told us Monday that there is still time to register to run or walk. Or, if you'd like to come down and join the club, we'll have a tailgate tent setup to cheer all of the runners participating in this annual & very fun event. More details below.
The Auburn Tiger Walk/Pep Rally happens at the SEC FanFare, Saturday at 2pm ET at the Georgia World Congress Center in Halls C1-3; there is an admission. Check our website for full information about this and a lot of other events going on downtown, like Saturday's Christmas Parade on Peachtree Street and the Auburn Men's Basketball game on Sunday at Philips Arena. We also included info about other things to do/see for those who are visiting Atlanta (a favorite Auburn party band will be at Smith's Olde Bar...find out who on the website).

For anyone at the game, our viewing locations, or any SEC events this week, please be sure to copy @atlantaAUclub on your Tweets/Photos. We will RT all of them!
