War Eagle!! This is a special Iron Bowl edition of our club newsletter. Info related to the game and a list of our viewing locations here in Atlanta are below.

A reminder for next week in Atlanta: The annual Collegiate Challenge at the BeltLine 10K on Saturday, Dec 7.  The club, as always, has a tent at this event to cheer on the runners. And there are lots of Auburn Tigers running. Then, on Sunday (Dec 8), the Auburn Men's Basketball team will be playing at Philips Arena. More details & ticket info below.

Is everyone ready to be LOUD, PROUD & ALL BLUE at Jordan-Hare on Saturday?!!!  For those headed to Auburn, everyone is asked to wear BLUE to the game. 

One of our Auburn Tigers at The Weather Channel told us Wednesday the forecast in Auburn was for 55 degrees at kick-off, with a light wind and mix of sun and clouds... along with a strong chance of touchdowns!! (War Eagle Stephen Neslage!) 

For those watching on TV, the game will be the 3:30p ET SEC broadcast on CBS. And, the day starts with the College Game Day broadcast on ESPN from Auburn in the morning.

If you are here in Atlanta, you can wear BLUE to our viewing locations, which will all be rocking with Auburn Tigers for the game! We have three Auburn-owned locations - see the full list below.



For anyone at the game, College Game Day or elsewhere on campus, be sure to copy @atlantaAUclubon your Tweets/Photos. Do the same if you are at any of our viewing locations here in Atlanta, especially if you have photos! We will RT all of them --- please be advised that the @atlantaAUclub Tweeter will be in J-H, so actual tweeting may be spotty, as usual, during the game. We'll catch up with the RTs as opportunity allows!

Join the Auburn Team for Atlanta Beltline 10k/Tailgate on Dec 7 
Run, Walk or come cheer the participants with the Atlanta Auburn Club
The Atlanta Auburn Club will be back at the Atlanta Beltline Eastside 10k and College Alumni Tailgate Challenge.  If you're running or walking, be sure you register for the Auburn team.  Or come down and join us as we cheer all the participants in this year's race (we've had a lot of fun at this event the past two years!)
  • Date: Saturday December 7, 2013
  • Time: 10:00am - 1:00 p.m. - Arrive by 8am to provide ample time for parking
  • Location: Stoveworks - 112 Krog Street Northeast Atlanta, GA 30307 
  • Featured Challenges: College Alumni Tailgate Challenge and Neighborhood Challenge
    • New for this year: Terrapin will be on site with a beer truck. Race numbers will include a tear tag redeemable for one free beer for participants age 21 and up.
The College Alumni Tailgate Challenge and Neighborhood Challenge make this event a unique and fun way to celebrate and have some fun. Last year's Eastside 10K sold out prior to the event.
