Greetings!
Finally some Fall weather has moved into Atlanta! Kickoff for Saturday's Homecoming game is 1pm CT/2pm ET. And for those headed to Texas next week for the A&M game, kickoff has also been announced. The Auburn-Texas A&M was selected for a 2:30pm CT/3:30p ET kickoff on CBS. The game is part of a doubleheader on the network, which starts with Georgia at Vanderbilt.
There are special Auburn tailgates set for the A&M and Tennessee games. Info on both is below in the Alumni Association listing. The Atlanta Auburn Club also has a bus headed to the Tennessee game! Thanks to everyone who has made reservations. Seats are still available, and details are below.
The Auburn Men's Golf team is here next week for the U.S. Collegiate Championship, the Atlanta Auburn Club will be back at the BeltLine 10k in December, and we want to introduce you to a great new tool -- THEFAMILY is for Auburn fans to do business with Auburn Fans right here in metro Atlanta. Details on all of this can be found in this newsletter.

Atlanta Auburn Club Bus Trips to the Vols & UGA Games
Why drive when you can ride & start your tailgate earlier?! Reserve your seat now The Atlanta Auburn Club is organizing two bus trips for the 2013 football season: to Knoxville for the Auburn-Tennessee game, and to Auburn for our home game against the Georgia Bulldogs. Thanks to everyone who has already made reservations -- seats are still available, so reserve yours now!
As with past Atlanta Auburn Club bus trips, our main departure location will be the Sandy Springs MARTA station, which offers free vehicle parking. For the Knoxville trip, we are also looking at an additional pickup location just off I-75 in the Marietta/Kennesaw area.
- All buses have Satellite TV, WiFi and 110 outlets, plus restroom.
- Riders can bring small personal-sized coolers aboard the bus (larger coolers, tailgate chairs, etc must be stowed below). For emergency reasons, the aisles in the bus cannot be blocked.
- Bus departure times will be set to allow for tailgating prior to the game. We cannot set departure times until the university has announced kickoff times for the games.
NOV. 9: AUBURN AT TENNESSEE IN KNOXVILLE -- This will be our first Auburn Tigers trip to Knoxville, and already it is a very popular request among Auburn fans. One-way travel time to Knoxville from Atlanta is over three hours. Round-trip price for this trip is only $75/per person. Note: we have an option on a second bus, if we have enough interest in this trip. Reserve your seat now!

NOV. 16: AUBURN HOME GAME AGAINST UGA -- This is a game day trip we have done before. Bus parking at Auburn is in the hay fields, near Tiger Transit shuttles. Round-trip price for this trip remains only $35/per person.

Seat reservations are confirmed only through prepayment via credit card links posted by the Atlanta Auburn Club. The Atlanta Auburn Club has no control over TV kickoff times, and to secure buses we must reserve them early. Prepaid fares for game day trips are non-refundable, but they can be transferred (with notice to club) to another Auburn Tiger or someone on the club waiting li st (if applicable). Bus departure times & locations will be announced prior to game day travel. The bus charter company has a 'two-weeks prior' cancel policy, so if there aren't enough riders at that point for a planned trip, the club can cancel and refund those who prepaid early. Join the Auburn Team for Atlanta Beltline 10k/Tailgate on Dec 7
Run, Walk or come cheer the participants with the Atlanta Auburn Club
The Atlanta Auburn Club will be back at the Atlanta Beltline Eastside 10k and College Alumni Tailgate Challenge. If you're running or walking, be sure you register for the Auburn team. Or come down and join us as we cheer all the participants in this year's race (we've had a lot of fun at this event the past two years!)
- Date: Saturday December 7, 2013
- Time: 10:00am - 1:00 p.m. - Arrive by 8am to provide ample time for parking
- Location: Stoveworks - 112 Krog Street Northeast Atlanta, GA 30307
- Featured Challenges: College Alumni Tailgate Challenge and Neighborhood Challenge
- New for this year: Terrapin will be on site with a beer truck. Race numbers will include a tear tag redeemable for one free beer for participants age 21 and up.
The College Alumni Tailgate Challenge and Neighborhood Challenge make this event a unique and fun way to celebrate and have some fun. Last year's Eastside 10K sold out prior to the event.

Cheer Auburn Golf at 8th Annual U.S. Collegiate Championship
The Golf Club of Georgia in Alpharettan hosts event on October 18-20
The Auburn Tigers Men's Golf Team is headed to Alpharetta for The U.S. Collegiate Championship, also referred to as "The Masters of College Golf."
The USCC takes place Friday through Sunday, October 18-20. This year's tournament includes host Georgia Tech, Auburn, Clemson, Duke, East Tennessee State, Iowa, Kent State, Oklahoma State, Stanford, Texas A&M, Virginia, UCLA, USC, Wake Forest and Washington.
Metro Atlanta area alumni are invited to come out and cheer the teams. Admission is free and there will be food and drinks for purchase. The USCC says it will also have several TVs in the clubhouse area so everyone can keep up with college football games. Click here for more information
On Thursday (Oct 17), The Golf Club of Georgia will also host "The USCC College-Am Golf Tournament presented by UBS Financial Services." This newly created tournament will feature amateur foursomes playing with a college player from each of the participating USCC teams. The amateur foursomes will be interspersed within the participating college teams' practice round the day before the USCC, providing for a truly unique golfing experience for the amateur participants.

The Greater Houston Auburn Club and the Auburn Alumni Association will be hosting an away game tailgate for the Auburn vs. Texas A&M game. The Greater Houston Auburn Club is also offering road trip transportation from Houston to College Station.
