Greetings!
Just two weeks from Saturday, Auburn's 2013 Football season gets underway. Who's headed to Jordan-Hare for the home opener? The opener on August 31 against Washington State will be on ESPNU with kickoff at 6pm CT. The Arkansas State game, on September 7, kicks off at 6:30pm on FSN. And the SEC opener against Mississippi State will kick off at 6pm. Auburn still has a limited number of tickets available for the season - go to AubTix.com for more information.
Lots of new content in this email, including a three-hour community project set for next Saturday -- it's part of a nationwide initiative by Auburn alumni to do a local day of service. Check it out and let us know if you can lend a hand. We need some Auburn Tigers!
College Colors Day is set for Friday, August 30 -- and as part of the celebration, Auburn is competing against 159 other colleges/universities for the College Colors Day Spirit Cup... so we need VOTES!!! We were leading when the vote launched Monday, but have slipped a bit. Info on how you can cast your daily vote is below.
We've also got information about the U.S. Collegiate Championship that will be played in Alpharetta in October. The Auburn Men's Golf team will be among those participating, so you could see a future Jason Dufner on the course! Check out the info and mark your calendars.
And speaking of Dufner.... his big win at the PGA Championship generated a lot of great content that we shared on Facebook and Twitter. In case you missed it, we've compiled some highlights below.
Where do you think Auburn's Jordan-Hare Stadium ranks among the loudest football stadiums? Take a guess and then check this link.
Have a great weekend...
