About Dave: He was born into a long line of automobile dealers in Miami. After years of working his way through the family business, he decided he enjoyed making his customer's laugh more than he enjoyed making them deals. Dave has opened for such well-known comics as Jim Gaffigan, Lewis Black, and Jimmy Fallon, and he now lives in Los Angeles.  All of Dave's jokes come with available rust proofing, floor mats, and 0% financing. Historic Day for AU's College of Business
Raymond Harbert pledges $40 million to business school

Brmingham businessman and Auburn University trustee Raymond Harbert has pledged the biggest donation in the university's history.  Harbert, who served as president pro tem of the board of trustees, has pledged $40 million to the school. In response, the board voted unanimously to rename the Auburn's college of business the Raymond J. Harbert College of Business.

Harbert, a 1982 graduate of Auburn, serves as chairman and CEO of Harbert Management Corporation, a Birmingham-based independent investment firm founded in 1993.  His donation displaces the previous record donation of $25 million made by former board member Samuel Ginn, whom the school's College of Engineering is named after.

Dean Bill Hardgrave says Harbert's donation will help the college of business rank "among the elite business schools in the U.S."
