Greetings!
War Eagle everyone! As of Wednesday night, the No. 18 Auburn men's golf team was tied for 23rd with Texas Tech at 11-over 571 after two rounds of play at the NCAA Championship at the Capital City Club's Crabapple Course here in metro Atlanta. The Tigers are 11 strokes out of eighth, the cutline for match play after Thursday's round. - First up, our annual golf tournament on June 24; this year at River Pines Golf in Johns Creek.
- In July, we've got something really new for the calendar: a night of comedy at the Punchline Comedy Club with AU grad and stand-up comedian Dave Williamson! Dave will be here for one night only, July 10. And Tickets are only $15, so reserve your seats now! Details below.
- Our annual Freshmen sendoff is set for Saturday, July 20. Any alumni or current Auburn students from the metro area who would like to help, please email us!
- And Finally, our BIG annual Summer tradition: the AAC's Auburn Tiger Outing at Turner Field! This year, it's Saturday, July 27, for Braves-Cardinals! Group ticket information is below, and ALL Auburn Tigers are invited to join us!! The 27th is Dead Day in Auburn, so we also hope some Auburn students will join us. Will Tim Hudson pitch?! ...too early to know, but that's always the hope! WDE!

Join the Atlanta Auburn Club for our 22nd annual Roy B. Sewell Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament. This year, it's at River Pines Golf in Johns Creek, Georgia, on Monday, June 24, 2013. Shotgun start is Noon.

Auburn Night of Laughs at Atlanta's Punchline Comedy Club
Stand-up Comedian & AU Grad Dave Williamson joins us July 10 - Get Your Tickets Now!
The Atlanta Auburn Club is bringing stand-up comedian and Auburn alum Dave Williamson '00 to town for a night of laughs and "War Eagle!" moments at Atlanta's Punchline Comedy Club. For one night only -- Wednesday, July 10 -- Dave will perform his award-winning material, documenting life as a young husband and father... plus, there's something special for the Auburn Family! Dave tells us he'll also be sharing several humorous stories from his colorful college days at Auburn.
Dave has excelled in many prestigious festivals, including the World Series of Comedy in Vegas (3rd Place) and the San Francisco Comedy Competition (Top 5). In 2012, Dave was named "Best Comedian" by The Miami New Times, released his debut CD through Stand Up! Records, and performed on Nick Jr's "NickMom Night Out".This show is open to the public, as long as everyone else is OK with hearing "War Eagle" a lot! So, let's fill the Punchline with Auburn Tigers! It's a performance that benefits our 501(c)(3) scholarship fund! Reserved seating is available now via The Punchline Comedy Club. Sewell Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc. holds 501(c)(3) non-profit status from the IRS. The AAC raises thousands of dollars annually to fund our Annual & Endowed Scholarships for metro Atlanta area students to attend Auburn University.
