The Upstate New York Synod, ELCA welcomes the Rev. Dr. David Lose, President of The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, as we explore what it means to preach the person of Jesus today. How do we tell the story, name the name and speak his message of grace in a new era & generation?
Bishop Macholz invites all rostered leaders of the Upstate New York Synod and the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester to attend and enjoy Rev.Dr. Lose, and guest representatives of the Mission Investment Fund and Portico Health Services as well as workshops by The Rev. Lee Miller II, the Rev.Gregory Tennermann and The Rev. Norma Malfatti. In addition, there'll be fellowship and free time to enjoy the Notre Dame facility with its breath-taking views and spacious grounds.
Read the ministerium brochure and register for this great event today. This is the first year we've invited ecumenical partners to attend and registration will fill quickly. We will be monitoring spacing requirements closely and while we fully expect to be able to provide overnight accommodations for all who register, we are limited to the capacity of the facility.
