We give thanks for the life of Fred C. Wukits who entered life eternal on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the age of 83.
Fred is survived by his wife of 32 years, The Rev. Janice C. Jenson (Retired/Hudson Mohawk Conference), four children-Robin (Christel) Wukits; Daniel Wukits; Bryan Wukits and Katja Wukits, six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and his sister Nancy. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gabriele.
Fred retired from the General Electric Company where he was a Methods Specialist/Manufacturing Engineer.
He had been a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Berne where he taught Sunday School, served on the Church Council as vice-president and was a preaching deacon. Fred served, for a time, on the synod's Global Mission Committee.
After Janice retired, the couple moved to North Dakota where Fred was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Grand Forks, ND.
Fred's funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. (CDT) on Monday, August 17, 2015 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will be for the hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery of Grand Forks. Further information may be found at Amundson's Funeral Home
