Notice of Death: Karl E. Rehbaum

We give thanks for the life of Karl E. Rehbaum, father-in-law of Pr. Johanna Rehbaum, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Webster  and father of Michael.  Karl entered life eternal on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at his home at the age of 68.

 

Karl was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam era retiring as Lieutenant after 21 years of service and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Smyrna Beach, FL.  He also became a member of VFW Post #4250, New Smyrna Beach; American Legion Post #285, Edgewater; Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #4089, Port Orange and the Rotary Club in Tallahassee, Crawfordville and Edgewater.

 

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Sharon, son Michael (Johanna), two step-sons and three step-grandchildren.


A Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 485 Turnbull Bay Rd., New Smyrna Beach, Fl. with Rev. Roger Prehn, Interim Pastor, officiating.  Military honors will be conducted by members of Americal Legion Post #285 following the service.


 
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL  32129.
