TWO EAGLES WIN NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS
|
Drysch and Liu Win National Merit Scholarships
Back in September, SMCHS was proud to announce three National Merit Semifinalists. Just recently, two of our Eagles, Austin Drysch of Laguna Hills and Ellen Liu of Coto de Caza were announced as winners of college-sponsored Merit Scholarship in the 59th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Summer Party with a Purpose
Be a part of something big - our signature event, Evening Under the Stars, is coming October 18th. We need the support of all our Eagle families to make this event a success. Join us at our Gift Gathering Party on July 11th. Together we can make a difference for this event and, more importantly, for all of our children at Santa Margarita who benefit from the proceeds. BACANI NAMED DIVISION 1 COACH OF THE YEAR
|
Congratulations to Coach Dave Bacani for earning the title of Division 1 Coach of the Year after an improbable 2014 season that was capped off with a CIF Championship, the first for the SMCHS Baseball program. The 2014 boys' baseball team secured the Division 1 CIF Championship at Dodger Stadium with their victory over Foothill High School, 3-1. Bacani's latest accolade as Coach of the Year marks the fifth CIF Coach of the Year for the Eagles.

TUITION PAYMENT FOR 2014-2015

The Parent Portal is currently under construction. At this time, payments cannot be remitted online, we apologize for the inconvenience. Annual and Semi Annual Statements were mailed on Friday, June 20th. Payment for the July tuition is due on or before July 1st and will be considered late after 4:00pm on Monday, July 7, 2014. Our 2013-2014 Eagle Fund continues to soar as we approach the end of our fiscal year! A huge thank you to the many families and friends who have made their contribution to the Eagle Fund! If you have yet to make your contribution there is still time, please be the difference and donate now! All gifts are appreciated and tax deductible. Gifts received by June 30 will be included in the Annual Report.

Uniform Sales
Santa Margarita is proud to announce the school will now be the school's uniform provider for all students. The Campus Bookstore will now serve the entire SMCHS community with books, supplies, spirit wear, gifts and now uniforms. Uniform sales begin July 1st. Please Click Here for all details and dates.

Fiesta de Solano is back and will be held Friday, July 11-13th. Join us for games, rides, live entertainment, delicious food, a grand prize drawing, bingo and a boutique! Discounted ride ticket and Grand Prize drawing ticket sales will begin at the Parish Office beginning June 2nd and will also be available after all Masses beginning June 21st. 6th Annual Sarah DeMille 5K
The sixth annual Sarah DeMille 5K Memorial Run will be held on Saturday, July 19th at SMCHS. Registration will begin at 7:00am and the race at 8:15 am. We will hold the "Future Eagle" run for those under 10 at 8:45 a.m. Races will be followed by a pancake breakfast with vendors, music, prizes and opportunity prizes, so come join us! Students and families, the launch of the One-to-One Program at SMCHS is upon us! Students will receive their Tablet PC at one of our distribution/training sessions at the end of the summer. There will be sessions on July 22, 29, 31, and August 5, 7, and 12. Although students must only attend one session, attendance is mandatory. Student parents or guardians should have received an email with instructions on how to sign up online for a distribution/training session. In case you missed it, Click Here to sign up. These sessions will fill up on a first-come, first-served basis, so sign up early to get the session you want!

Scrip will be sold throughout the summer with the exception of the week of the week of July 28. Scrip sales are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30am - 9:30am and Wednesday from 1:30pm - 3:30pm. For information regarding the SMCHS scrip program Click Here. Purchase scrip for Fathers' Day, Grads, and Newlyweds!! We now have Tutto Fresco ($25) and Taco Bell ($10).
