Financial Assistance
Please be aware of these important dates for applying for financial assistance. The application deadline for incoming freshman and new transfer students closed March 15th. Returning Students deadline closes March 31, 2013. (Returning sophomores, juniors and seniors.) Click Here for more information. |

Scholarships
We are pleased to announce the availability of over $50,000 in privately funded scholarships available now! There are scholarships available for Class of 2013, 2014 and 2015. Many of the scholarships require the completion of a FACTS application which can take up to 3 weeks to process, this must be completed by March 31st. The scholarship applications for returning students are due on March 31st and current senior student applications are due April 8th. Click Here to view the scholarship criteria and deadline dates. Online Registration
The 2013-14 Online Registration is now open, Click Here. The Registration Fee is $450 through March 31st before 4:00pm. After 4:00pm, the fee will be $550. Pep Squad Information Meeting and Tryouts
Join the nationally-ranked Pep Squad! Auditions for the 2013-2014 season are April 10-12. There will be an information meeting in the SMCHS Science Lecture Hall on Tuesday, March 26th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Come learn about the program and tryout requirements. Click here for more information. |

This year's Spring Dance will be tomorrow, March 22nd from 7:00-10:00pm in the Moiso Family Pavilion. Today is your last chance to purchase advanced sale tickets online for $12.00, tickets will be available at the door for $25. Students must bring their current SMCHS ID in order to enter the dance.
Students are to wear an appropriate top in their class color with jeans or uniform shorts. Remember, no glow sticks are allowed to be brought in to this event. To order online, Click Here. |

The sophomore service project, Special Olympics Track & Field, will be Thursday, March 28th at the Harry Brittingham Track on the campus of SMCHS from 8:00am-2:00pm. Students are trained to organize and manage teams of SM volunteers during our SMCHS Special Olympics Track and Field event. We would love parent chaperones to help with over 500 athletes from Orange County schools who will be competing. If you can help, please contact Ms. Peg Dzida. |

This year's Senior Pilgrimage is Thursday, March 28th. Seniors will walk this 13.7 mile journey from SMCHS to San Juan Capistrano Basilica. Those participating will meet in the gym at 7:30am. Father-Daughter Dance

Senior Fashion Show, Luncheon & Boutique
The Senior Fashion Show, Luncheon and Boutique will be April 28th from 10:30-3:30pm at San Francisco Solano Parish Hall. Tickets are available online, get yours now before the show sells out! We're looking for senior students to participate in the parade of colleges grand finale at the Fashion Show. The cost per student is $10.00 and the memories are priceless! Class of 2013 'Movin' On Up and Off to College' t-shirts are for sale and can be purchased online. As always, we're looking for donations; contact event chairs if you'd like to make a donation. The Freshman Spring retreat will be held on April 10-11th. If you have a freshman that would like to attend this Spring retreat, please Click Here for the necessary forms. We are forming small groups, so don't wait, please turn your form in today. |
Every Tuesday, we offer Eucharistic Adoration in the Sacred Heart Chapel from 8:00-2:00pm. If you would like to spend some quiet time with our Lord in prayer, stop by on Tuesdays. You can also contact Nancy Hormuth in Campus Ministry to be added to the Eucharistic Adoration Group where you will receive additional information. |
Catholic Parish Verification Form
If your family is registered at a Catholic parish, please Click Here to download the verification form and submit to your parish pastor. Your pastor will complete the form and send it to SMCHS. Families that are registered and active at a Catholic parish in Orange County are eligible for the Catholic tuition rate. Parish Verification forms must be returned to SMCHS by Friday, May 10th. |

Please call your absent student in by 9:30am the same day he/she is out. If there is no call from you, your student needs a hand written parent note for their readmit. When we have a high rate of absences, the line for readmits is extra long and having the correct records will make the line go faster. The students need to be in their classroom seat 1st block by the second bell or a detention is issued by our office. To contact the Attendance office, Click Here or call (949) 766-6000 x 1020. Scrip
Simply by using the Scrip Program, SMCHS benefits and so do you. Volunteers are here to sell scrip Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30am - 9:30am and Wednesday from 1:30pm - 3:30pm. You may drop off your order at any time and our volunteer will contact you when it is ready for pick up. We will share the discount percentage 50/50 with you which can lower your student's school tuition or be donated to a school program. Click Here for more information. |
