25 Nov 15: How far behind is the pulp and paper industry on 3-D printing?

I think the answer is very far behind.

The latest craze in 3-D printing, is 3-D printing RPAs (drones).  We will be discussing these in Aerial Arguments this month.

The USS Essex is printing 3-D drones on board the ship (they are also printing spare parts).

An RPA with a three meter wingspan was on display in Dubai a couple of weeks ago.  It was a 3-D printing project.

We have not yet heard of 3-D printing used in any real life application in the pulp and paper industry.

Have you?  If you have, please let us know.  We would like to spread the word.

We would like to hear from you. Please send an email to [email protected]
