15 Jul 15: Board Visits-a way to lighten your mill

If you have been around for a while, you know what happens when the Board of Directors decides to visit your mill.  You clean up, paint and throw things away.

Why don't you do these activities all the time?

Your mill will run better, your operations will be smoother and many, many things that are in your way and hindering your effectiveness will be eliminated.

It is lack of respect for yourself, individually and collectively, that allows a mill to get in a state of disrepair and poor housekeeping.  After all, if you have enough respect for the Board of Directors to clean up for them but not enough to clean up for yourself, what does that say about you?

Start making your mill lighter by keeping it "board inspection ready" every day.
