1:00 - 3:00 PM EDT (10 AM - Noon PDT)
Webinar registration and complete agenda
GSA and DOE invite you to participate in a panel discussion on Monday, October 29, 2012 to highlight subcontracting opportunities with Energy Saving Performance Contractors. This webinar has been designed to help businesses partner to meet the building performance and subcontracting goals. Discussion will include:
- summary of their building assignments
- subcontracting scopes of work
- what they are looking for in subcontractors
- their process for identifying and selecting subs
- contact information for follow-up
> Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) have been replaced by a new system called System for Award Managemen t (SAM), managed by the General Services Administration (GSA). With SAM, one user ID and password will provide access to all the capabilities associated with:
- registering to do business with the government
- representing/self-certifying as a small business
- viewing business opportunities
SAM went live on July 29. For firms with active profiles, your data was automatically migrated from CCR, and we suggest waiting until technical issues are resolved to create your SAM user account and entity registration. If you need to update an expired profile or are new to government contracting and need to register your company in order to be eligible for an award and need assistance, please contact your PTAC counselor.
> Open House for Seattle Housing Authority's Yesler Terrace. Meet with prime contractor Anderson Construction Comnpany to learn more about the project and contracting opportunites. October 30th at 1:30 p.m. -- meeting details and scopes of work sought.
