Parents,

As I reflected on the 15th anniversary of 9/11 yesterday, I was reminded that the practice of virtues is necessary for a strong country.  Each morning we begin our day with prayer, and then we proudly recite the Pledge of Allegiance.  It is important that we acknowledge our trust in God, and loyalty to our country daily. We are Catholic Christians.  We are also patriotic Americans who are proud of our country and ready to serve.

Have a great week!

8th GRADERS COMMISSIONED AS LEADERS OF THE SCHOOL
Our 8th graders we commissioned as leaders of the school after our Mass on September 7th.  Father Bob blessed gold cross pins that serve as a symbol of their commitment.
SAINT-A-THON PLEDGE DRIVE BEGINS!
Our first check in day is this Thursday, September 15th!  Our goal is 100% participation from each family.  Please send your envelopes on Thursday with pledges/donations included and we will give students bracelets matching the level of support.

On each check in day, we will draw (5) students in K-5 to pull from the lollipop tree, and (5) students in 6-8 to pull from the gift card mystery wall.

The lollipops have $5-20 attached, and the gift cards are in increments of $5-20.

In order to enter the drawing, families must have at least $30 in NEW pledges from the previous collection.

***Help needed: we need 4-5 dads to set up tailgate tents and seating on Friday, September 23rd before school.  Please contact Lorien Hale at frainl@jccal.org if you can help.***
