The City of Haines City is excited to announce that in honor of all her achievements and accomplishments, Haines City Native Amber "Sevyn" Streeter, will receive a Key to the City from Mayor, H.L. Roy Tyler, this Friday, February 27, 2015, at 7 PM during the Ribs on the Ridge celebration.
We ask that you come out and welcome Sevyn as she receives this honorary recognition from the Mayor on behalf of Haines City.

Born and raised in Haines City, Sevyn has cemented herself as a rising singer/songwriter with the success of her solo EP "Call Me Crazy, But..." which debuted at number 5 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. "It Won't Stop," the lead single from the EP, has proven a true phenomenon, topping Billboard's "Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay" chart for 9 consecutive weeks, while climbing both Billboard's "Hot 100" and "R&B/Hip Hop Songs" chart. In addition, the "It Won't Stop" companion video - directed by and co-starring GRAMMY® Award-winner Chris Brown, with a special guest appearance by Portland Trail Blazers forward Dorrell Wright - is a YouTube smash, earning more than 43 million views thus far at Sevyn's official YouTube channel,

featuring Kid Ink. The popularity of "nEXt" led Streeter to team up for a remix of the track featuring West Coast heavyweight rapper, YG (watch video:

In addition to making her mark as a solo artist, Sevyn is also a GRAMMY Award Winning songwriter, having written six songs from Chris Brown's GRAMMY winning album, "Fame" as well as two songs from Alicia Keys' GRAMMY winning album, "Girl on Fire". Her songwriting credits include some of last year's hottest singles, including Chris Brown's "Fine China," Tamar Braxton's "All The Way Home," Alicia Keys' "New Day," and Ariana Grande's chart-topping hit, "The Way."
Streeter also recently released the new single off of her highly anticipated debut album. The single, "Don't Kill The Fun" featuring Chris Brown, has taken off on radio and is being celebrated as one of the most "feel-good" songs of 2015.
