We are pleased to announce the launch of the first-ever online community of practice for patient-centered cancer care. Supported by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) through a $250,000 Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Award, the GW Cancer Center built on existing dissemination efforts to develop the GATE, an online engagement tool focused on patient navigation and survivorship. The GATE includes in-depth research findings, practice-based insights and lessons learned, a searchable question & answer section, Ask the Expert small group sessions, special interest groups and a monthly e-newsletter.
