Last year, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation introduced a new model for cancer care, called the Oncology Care Model (OCM). The OCM provides clinicians with financial incentives in order to improve access to care, appropriateness of care and care coordination. On April 12 at 2 p.m. EDT , join the GW Cancer Institute for presentations and Q&A about the OCM with three experts in the field of care delivery. Dr. John V. Cox, DE, MBA, FACP, Medical Director of Oncology Services at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX, will offer a physician's perspective on the OCM. Shelley Fuld Nasso, CEO of the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship, will discuss the OCM from a patient advocate's point-of-view. Rounding out the discussion will be Dr. Michael Ybarra, Senior Director of Alliance Development at PhRMA. Register today!
