GW Cancer Institute was awarded a 2-year, $250,000 contract to build a Patient Centered Care GATE (Generation and Translation of Evidence) which will serve as a "one-stop-shop" for resources related to patient centered care and practice.

Community Roundtable Oacoma, South Dakota

On July 28, GW Cancer Institute conducted a roundtable in Oacoma, South Dakota to bring together key stakeholders to address access issues and utilization of health services in  

the region.


On July 20, GW Cancer Institute hosted a  webinar addressing resources for tobacco cessation among cancer survivors. Dr. Jamie Ostroff, Director of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center's Tobacco Treatment Program, discussed the practice-related aspects of the issue.
